Driving Revenue at the Intersection of AI, IoT, and Enterprise Technology
Naqi has spent three decades at the forefront of enterprise technology sales, consistently operating in markets defined by rapid change and high stakes. His career has spanned some of the most significant technology shifts of the modern era, from the early rise of GPS, telematics, and IoT to today’s generative AI and autonomous systems.
What has remained constant is his ability to cut through complexity and build commercial momentum. Naqi does not just sell technology; he positions it. He has spent years helping enterprise organizations understand what AI, IoT, and telematics actually mean for their business model, their competitive standing, and their growth trajectory. That clarity is what has made him a trusted figure in boardrooms and at the executive table across industries including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, energy, and logistics.
Advising C-Suite Leaders on AI, IoT, and Emerging Technology
Naqi brings a rare combination of frontline sales experience and strategic depth to the conversations that matter most. When C-suite leaders and boards are wrestling with AI adoption, IoT infrastructure, telematics strategy, or digital transformation decisions, Naqi is the type of voice that cuts through the noise and delivers perspective grounded in real outcomes.
His approach is not theoretical. Drawing from his time leading global business development at IBM across RFID, GPS, and telematics, driving IoT and digital services across the Americas at Wipro, and building enterprise partnerships at HERE Technologies and GBG Plc, Naqi understands the operational and commercial realities that shape whether a technology initiative succeeds or stalls. He advises organizations with the same directness and rigor he has applied throughout his career, always focused on what actually moves the needle.
Naqi's Story
Naqi’s career began not in a boardroom but at the systems level. His first role was as a systems engineer at BellSouth Wireless in Atlanta, where he developed the technical grounding that would later inform decades of enterprise sales and leadership. From there, he founded Naqi and Associates, a business technology consultancy, before moving into increasingly senior roles at some of the world’s most recognized technology organizations.
At IBM, he led end-to-end RFID, GPS, and telematics solution sales while managing a global business development function with a P&L of $50M and a team of more than 30 professionals. He then brought that enterprise depth to HERE Technologies, where he led location-based services sales and built the company’s North American SaaS channel sales program from the ground up. His journey continued through Wipro, where he led IoT and digital services sales globally across financial services, telecom, healthcare, and energy verticals, and through GBG Plc, where he acquired ten new enterprise logos in under twelve months.
Through each chapter, Naqi has remained focused on the same mission: helping organizations understand, adopt, and extract real value from the technologies defining the future, whether that is IoT, telematics, or the AI systems being built on top of the connected infrastructure he has spent a career helping enterprises build.
